Role: In- House Recruiter Negotiable DOE Based: Darwen Lancashire Company: WEC Group has been established for over 45 years, and we are one of the North West’s leading & multi award winning engineering, fabrication and machining companies. Due to expansion, we are now offering a fantastic career opportunity for an experienced Recruiter to join our Darwen based internal Recruitment Team. Role of In-House Recruiter: You will take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process, proactively sourcing candidates, screening applications, conducting initial interviews and coordinating offers and start dates. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, a sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining high standards of candidate quality and experience. In-House Recruiter Responsibilities: * Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from vacancy approval and job advertising through to offer and onboarding. * Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, skills, experience and recruitment priorities. * Write and publish engaging job advertisements across relevant job boards, social media platforms and careers pages. * Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and direct approaches. * Screen CVs, conduct initial telephone or video interviews, and assess candidate suitability. * Coordinate interviews, gather feedback and manage communication with candidates and hiring managers. * Support salary negotiations, offer management, pre-employment checks and references. Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience * Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within Engineering. * Confident sourcing and engaging candidates. * Able to manage multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment. * Highly organised, proactive and target driven. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. * Focused on filling vacancies quickly without compromising on candidate quality.
