WeBuyVintage is looking for a Social & Content Lead to take ownership of our content and social strategy as we scale one of the UK’s fastest-growing re-commerce brands. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who truly lives and breathes content and wants real responsibility. We’re a rapidly growing business with a relatively small social and owned-content footprint, which means this is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up and take our content from 0 to 100.

Who We Are

WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company (over 200 valuation events every month), bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country. In just three years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business. Now, we’re focused on building a brand people genuinely recognise and trust, and strong content plays a huge role in that.

The Role

As Social & Content Lead, you’ll own how our brand shows up across social and owned content channels. This is both a strategy and execution role, meaning you’ll define the content direction, create the content yourself, analyse what’s working, and continually refine our approach as we grow. Social will be the primary focus, but you’ll also contribute to email and blog content, helping shape longer-form storytelling that supports brand, PR and campaigns. You’ll regularly attend events and roadshows to capture real, on-the-ground content. You’ll be filming, interviewing, and telling customer stories, so you’ll need to be comfortable travelling and driving. You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing and PR specialist to ensure social, email and blog content are aligned with wider narratives and press activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning the social and content strategy across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn (with TikTok in future).
  • Creating high-quality, engaging content from scratch across social, email and blogs.
  • Filming and editing video content at events, roadshows and behind the scenes.
  • Writing strong content, captions and hooks for both short-form and longer-form content.
  • Turning real-world moments into multi-channel content.
  • Scheduling and managing content across platforms.
  • Analysing performance, spotting trends, and adjusting strategy based on what’s working.
  • Staying up to date with platform trends, formats and best practices.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar social/content role, ideally within a DTC or consumer brand.
  • Proven experience growing or significantly improving a brand’s social or content presence.
  • Someone genuinely platform and trend savvy who enjoys experimenting.
  • Confident filming and editing video content (Reels, short-form, voiceovers, etc).
  • Happy to be behind — and occasionally in front of — the camera.
  • A natural people-person who can put customers at ease and capture authentic moments.
  • Excellent written English and copywriting skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership.
  • AI-savvy and knows how to use emerging tools to work smarter, without replacing creative thinking or storytelling instincts.
  • Bonus: experience creating content for an over-50s audience.
  • Above all, we’re looking for someone creative, proactive and excited by the idea of building a content engine from the ground up.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary.
  • 4-day working week.
  • Real ownership and creative freedom.
  • Collaborative, friendly team who care about the people they work with.
  • The chance to shape the voice and content of a national brand at a pivotal stage.

How to Apply

Please send us your CV and a short note about why you’d be a great fit. Please note that due to the volume of applicants, we are unfortunately unable to respond to every application.
