About WeBuyVintage
WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company - over 250 valuation events every month - bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country. While our roadshows are perfect for most people, we recognise there are individuals where a more personalised service is needed. Through a growing team of buyers located around England, our Home Visit service provides quick and professional visits to any home. We provide no obligation offers and advice on a wide variety of items with instant bank payment and collection if accepted.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Home Visit Co-Ordinator to support our growing Home Visits division. This role will involve speaking directly with customers who have submitted enquiries about selling valuable items from their homes, including jewellery, antiques, watches, collectibles and other high-value belongings. You’ll act as the key point of contact between the customer and our field-based buyers, helping assess enquiries, arrange appointments and manage booking schedules. As the Home Visits division continues to grow, a large part of this role will initially involve the manual coordination and booking of appointments whilst our bespoke systems and operational processes are being developed internally. We are therefore looking for someone highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced scaling environment where processes are still evolving.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities
- Call customers who have submitted home visit enquiries
- Gather information about items customers are looking to sell
- Assess suitability of enquiries for a buyer visit
- Coordinate and manually schedule appointments for field-based buyers
- Manage and adjust buyer schedules where appointments change or move
- Act as a key point of contact between customers and buyers
- Provide a professional, friendly and reassuring customer experience throughout the process
- Keep accurate records and update internal systems
- Liaise closely with operational teams and buyers across the business
- Respond to customer queries via phone, email and online platforms where required
- Support wider administrative tasks relating to the Home Visits division
Who We’re Looking For
The position is heavily phone-based and would suit someone who is confident speaking with a wide range of people, naturally organised and comfortable managing a fast-moving schedule where appointments and logistics can change regularly. This is a more specialised position than a traditional customer service role and requires someone with a strong understanding of jewellery, antiques, collectibles and vintage items, alongside the ability to confidently assess enquiries and communicate with customers regarding valuable belongings.
You’ll be great in this role if you have:
Qualifications & Experience
- A strong knowledge of jewellery, antiques, collectibles and vintage items
- A confident and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple bookings, schedules and priorities at once
- A calm and adaptable approach in a fast-moving environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Confidence speaking with a wide variety of customers
- Good administrative and computer skills
- The ability to build rapport and trust with customers quickly
- Previous customer service, scheduling, coordination or office experience
What You’ll Get
- 4-day working week
- Access to Bright Exchange - enjoy thousands of exclusive employee discounts and perks
- Employee Assistance Programme - confidential, 24/7 support for you and your immediate family, covering work, personal, and home life matters
- On-demand professional development - access to BrightHR’s online learning platform to build new skills and support your career progression
- Competitive pay
- Be part of a rapidly growing, friendly UK brand
The salary for this role is £30,000 - £32,000 p.a. Please note this role is based in our Cambridge office 2-3 days per week.
