Overview
Job: Electrical Site Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £40,000 plus bonus and a company vehicle.
Bonus: Fantastic monthly bonus based on company performance.
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the UK’s favourite car buying service and to join our newly established and growing Retail Maintenance Team.
This is a full-time role with nationwide travel working on average 42 hours per week, 5 days out of 7.
Responsibilities
As an electrical Site Maintenance Engineer you will be ready to help ensure our estate of over 500 branches is safe and working for all our retail colleagues. Our retail estate includes a number of PODs with a mix of power sources including solar panels and eco fuel. Your time will be split between visiting branches to carry out servicing to ensure the safe effective performance of the branch in all weather conditions, and responding to requests from the maintenance helpdesk to visit sites and repair and resolve issues. You’ll also need to offer remote support to our colleagues by talking them through processes to perform quick on-site checks to establish problems and or resolve them. You will find solutions to issues quickly and effectively, liaising with the retail teams and working with suppliers to implement future fixes. Safety will be your priority and you will work collaboratively within all departments and suppliers and across the site teams, including with the Maintenance Manager, Team Members and other departments.
Requirements / About You
You\’ll fit right in if you can demonstrate:
- You’ve got a multi-skilled background in repairs, general maintenance, and electrical maintenance.
- You’re electrically biased, multi-skilled and have accreditations.
- You’re experienced with Microsoft 360 packages.
- You’re comfortable communicating with a wide variety of people, and you have the confidence to respond positively when under pressure.
- You can show us that you’re able to comply with Health and Safety standards.
- You hold a relevant engineering qualification in either electrical or mechanical.
