Our Purpose: We're on a mission to reinvent what’s possible with AI in enterprise environments. But building a category-defining company requires more than great technology—it demands exceptional storytelling, brand building, and community engagement. As our Marketing & Events Lead, you’ll be the creative force behind how the world sees and experiences WeBuild-AI.
Role Overview: As Marketing & Events Lead, you’ll shape our narrative and bring our brand to life across content, social, SEO, and live experiences. From writing high-impact technical thought pieces to curating standout events, you’ll make sure our message cuts through in a crowded market. You’ll be hands-on, entrepreneurial, and deeply connected to both the tech and the people that power it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead content strategy and creation across web, blog, social, and campaign channels—especially LinkedIn.
- Write and produce technical and thought leadership content aligned with our positioning in AI and enterprise innovation.
- Manage end-to-end planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, including meetups, roundtables, and industry showcases.
- Own and optimise SEO and website performance, leveraging analytics to inform content decisions.
- Build our brand presence by working with designers, engineers, and leadership to turn ideas into campaigns that get noticed.
- Coordinate cross-functional input into marketing efforts, aligning with business development, partnerships, and hiring needs.
- Explore and support multimedia storytelling—including video production and editing (a bonus, not a must-have).
- Drive experimentation, reporting, and iteration to improve marketing effectiveness over time.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a marketing or content-focused role, ideally in tech, consulting, or high-growth environments.
- Strong technical writing skills—comfortable translating complex AI concepts into accessible, engaging content.
- Hands-on experience managing LinkedIn as a core business marketing channel.
- Familiarity with SEO, keyword planning, and web analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, and HubSpot).
- Experience planning and delivering business-facing events or community initiatives.
- Organised, self-directed, and able to lead projects from idea to execution with minimal oversight.
- Bonus: Videography or editing skills, especially for short-form brand content or event recaps.
The Mindset We Value:
- Storyteller with Substance: You don’t just write well—you craft narratives that connect, educate, and build trust in complex spaces.
- Strategic Doer: You’re both the thinker and the executor—comfortable switching from planning big-picture campaigns to fine-tuning copy or running a livestream.
- Curious Technologist: You stay on top of the AI landscape and love turning deep technical work into stories people remember.
- Creative Collaborator: You work fluidly across teams, blending creative, commercial, and technical perspectives to make things happen.
Growth Opportunities:
- Shape the brand voice and content strategy of a leading-edge AI company.
- Work alongside industry experts and contribute to the broader AI discourse.
- Build and scale a marketing function with autonomy and support.
