Position Overview

As a Senior Farm Business Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering a wide range of consultancy services to farmers throughout Northumberland, contributing to the company\’s growth and success in the agricultural sector.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consultancy services to farmers across Northumberland

• Conduct comprehensive Farm Business appraisals

• Manage Basic Payment Scheme and grant applications

• Compile reports and budgets for various agreements

• Lead, mentor, and develop a growing team

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead

• Combination of practical and farm business experience

• Knowledge of DEFRA\’s subsidies and Agricultural Transition Period

• Previous experience of managing a team

• 3+ years\’ experience in arable/livestock sectors (desirable)

• FACTS and BASIS qualifications (desirable)
