Rural Chartered Surveyor – MRICS Qualified, Shropshire

Our client, a well-established estate agency and chartered surveying practice with a strong presence in Shropshire, is seeking a full-time MRICS qualified Rural Chartered Surveyor to join their growing rural team in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to the firm\’s future development and success.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will work with a diverse portfolio of mostly private clients, providing expert advice on a wide range of rural property matters, including sales, lettings, valuations, planning, development, compensation, and compulsory purchase.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sale and letting of rural properties
• Conduct accurate rural property valuations
• Provide expert advice on rural planning and development
• Handle compensation and compulsory purchase cases for landowners
• Deliver high-quality service to a diverse client base

Requirements

• MRICS or AssocRICS qualification
• RICS Registered Valuer status (desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Proficient in IT and effective time management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
