Are you an experienced MRICS Rural Surveyor looking for a leadership role where you can make a real impact? Our client is a leading real estate and land consultancy, part of a global organisation with an outstanding reputation for delivering expert advice across the rural, residential and commercial property sectors. They are seeking a Senior Associate Director to join their successful Exeter team, offering the opportunity to lead a talented team, manage prestigious estate clients and deliver strategic projects that shape the future of rural land. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with client leadership, business development and team management.

The Role

  • Acting as principal agent for a portfolio of estate management clients
  • Undertaking estate and farming business reviews
  • Advising on diversification opportunities and strategic land promotion projects
  • Delivering secured lending and professional valuation work
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing rural team
  • Identifying new business opportunities and supporting business growth
  • Managing projects effectively, ensuring high standards and timely delivery

About You

You'll be an experienced Rural Surveyor with strong commercial awareness, excellent client relationship skills and the ability to lead both people and projects. You'll ideally have:

  • MRICS qualification with strong post-qualification experience in rural surveying
  • Proven experience managing rural estate clients and delivering professional advice
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience delivering estate management, diversification or strategic land projects
  • Commercial awareness and business development experience
  • Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • A full UK driving licence
