This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day risk and compliance functions ensuring a proper control environment in accordance with the OCC Heightened Standards regulatory guidance and all Federal, State and Local regulations as they pertain to Human Resources. This includes RSCA supervision, How2Work administration, and reporting of Board / Management Level metrics. Incumbent will interact with Second- and Third-Line Defense functions including but not limited to Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, First Line Controls, and Corporate Compliance.
Responsible for all aspects of Human Resources Compliance including but not limited to maintaining the Colleague Handbook, ensuring all required notices and posters are up to date, handling colleague immigration issues, etc. and acting as a liaison between internal and external legal counsel, audit and other parties as needed. Has accountability for team audit results. Will also act as back-up for HR communications and financial activities (reconciliations, budget reporting, invoice processing, etc.).
What you will do
- This role will guide the HR team in the development of practical solutions, identification of operational processes and controls to improve the risk management control environment by performing process-oriented risk assessments and investigating control failures, recommending action plans, and monitoring remediation of all issues.
- This position will serve as the day-to-day point of contact for HR and the Second- and Third-Line Defense functions including but not limited to Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Third Party Risk Management, Corporate Compliance, SOX and Internal Audit.
- Incumbent is responsible for the monitoring, reporting and remediating Board / Management Level metrics.
- Work with First Line Controls to complete Operational Risk and Control Self-Assessments within HR which includes: Identifying and assess current and emerging risks that arise from First Line Unit (FLU) activities and reporting identified risks in Logic Manager.
- Collaborating with members of the HR Leadership Team and Operational Risk to create and maintain the RCSA plan schedule.
- Reviewing all procedure documents within HR and creating and maintaining process flow diagrams when necessary.
- Develop and execute remediation plans where instances of inadequate controls are identified.
- Manager will be responsible for all aspects Human Resources Compliance including but not limited to maintaining the Colleague Handbook, ensuring all required notices and posters are up to date, handling colleague immigration issues, etc. and acting as liaison between internal and external legal counsel, audit and other parties as needed.
- Incumbent will ensure all aspects pertaining to immigration matters are handled in a timely and efficient matter. Interacts directly with outside immigration counsel as needed.
- The incumbent will also be responsible for being back-up for reporting ESG data, HR Scorecard Data, etc.
- Managing HR policies and charters in H2W.
- Serving as back-up for HR communications and financial activities (reconciliations, budget reporting, invoice processing, etc.).
Education, Experience and Skills
- Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Associate’s degree (AA) or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- 5-7 years HR Risk management required.
- 5-7 years HR Compliance required.
- 5-7 years Financial Services required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to synthesize and present complex information clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and team orientation.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Technical Skills Microsoft office experience required, Logic Manager and Service Now experience preferred.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $105,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
