The Role!
The senior associate will work with an impressive client base on a broad range of banking & finance transactions across corporate lending, leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate finance, project finance, and invoice discounting. More specifically, this will include:
- Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documents (LMA and non-LMA)
- Negotiating inter-creditor agreements or arrangements
- Overseeing any other matters related to live lending transactions
- Mentoring and coaching junior lawyers and trainees
- Getting involved in the business development of the team
You will be!
You will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Solicitor – Scottish qualified/Dual qualified (Scotland/E & W)
- 4+ years PQE working within the banking and finance practice of a commercial law firm
- Experience of working on a broad range of banking transactions
- Technically strong solicitor with excellent drafting skills
- Strong client management and communication skills
