Projects Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor – Global Law Firm – Top Tier Ranked practice – Glasgow/Edinburgh
Are you an experienced projects solicitor interested in working for an award winning projects team for this leading global law firm? This role sits within their ETI practice and they are keen to recruit an experienced solicitor 4 + years PQE.
Their energy, transport and infrastructure team (part of the wider projects practice) have deep expertise and market knowledge and have consistently been ranked in the top tier of chambers as being a leading firm in this space. The firm holds positions on most Government legal panels and this is therefore an exciting opportunity to work on major reforms and ground breaking transactions.
You will work on projects that make headlines and contribute to the fight against climate change and stimulate UK infrastructure growth.

The Role
You will be front and centre with clients and lead on a broad range of interesting and complex energy and infrastructure projects. You will work with exciting and high profile clients across rail, airports, health, education, roads, prisons, housing, water, wastewater, waste, defence and telecos.
You will work on a range of projects to include project finance, commercial contracts, project operations, advising on procurement and finance models to include PFI/PPP, project variations, refinancings, complex government procurements and a range of energy projects (onshore/offshore wind, solar, energy from waste, battery storage and hydro).
You will be
- Qualified Solicitor – 4 + years PQE
- Strong academic background
- PQE gained focusing on projects work to include infrastructure/transport sector AND/OR energy
- Excellent client management skills and adept at developing strong client networks
- Highly organised with good project management skills
- Commercial awareness with experience of providing commercially strong client advice
- Strong teamwork skills and able to work across multi-disciplinary teams
