The Role:
Working as part of this growing data privacy team you will be responsible for creating a robust compliance framework that will be tailored to products that protect data. Working with the NPI team you will ensure best practice in the NPI lifecycle so they meet regulatory requirements. You will create a culture of compliance with a commercial approach and ongoing education and training across the business.
You will be:
- Qualified Solicitor (UK/EU) with 5+ years PQE – in-house or private practice.
- Previous experience and knowledge of data privacy and data protection law.
- Some knowledge of emerging regulations i.e. AI regulations and cyber regulations would be advantageous.
- Previous experience of developing or advising clients on compliance processes and frameworks that meet regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders/clients throughout a business.
- Commercial approach with strong leadership skills and ability to influence across a business.
