Are you an employment solicitor interested in taking the next step in your career? This role would suit an employment solicitor ideally 4 + years PQE.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of employment matters both contentious and non-contentious. Day-to-day this will involve:

  • Advising clients on a broad range of employment matters to include TUPE, reorganisations, contracts, policies, senior exits etc.
  • Advise clients and take ownership on employment claims from initial drafting of pleadings to conducting advocacy and working with counsel
  • Work closely with the corporate and commercial teams and provide corporate support on large and high-value transactions
  • Mentor junior solicitors and assist with the future development and growth of the practice

You will be!

  • Qualified Solicitor – ideally 4 + years PQE
  • PQE will have been focused on employment within a commercial firm where you will have exposure to a broad range of employment matters
  • Previous experience of managing tribunal matters and employment litigation experience
  • Experience of managing your own caseload
  • Experience of giving practical, commercial advice to respondent clients
  • Strong communication skills and client development skills
