Conekt Legal is working exclusively with our client, a high-growth, global technology company with an expanding in-house legal team based in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for a 2 to 5 years PQE corporate or commercial solicitor to join this fast-paced company in an exciting new role. You’ll become part of a fast-paced, collaborative legal team, working closely with the commercial and sales functions at the centre of the business. The role offers hands-on exposure to complex commercial and technology contracts, meaningful responsibility from day one, and the chance to work with senior stakeholders across a global organisation. It’s an ideal opportunity for a lawyer looking to build a long-term in-house career within a friendly, flexible and growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales and commercial teams on a wide range of customer and partner transactions
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial and technology contracts, including SaaS agreements, licensing arrangements, NDAs, supplier and strategic partner agreements
  • Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice to stakeholders across the business
  • Escalate and collaborate on more complex or strategic matters with senior legal colleagues
  • Assist with improving and scaling legal processes and templates as the business grows
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as finance, product, operations and compliance in a global environment

About You

  • Qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with 2–5 years’ PQE
  • Experience in commercial or corporate law gained in private practice or in-house
  • Strong legal drafting skills and high levels of attention to detail
  • Commercial, pragmatic and comfortable working directly with non-legal stakeholders
  • Proactive, collaborative and keen to develop within a high-performing, supportive legal team
