Apprentice bespoke furniture maker required for a leading furnishing manufacturer. A great opportunity to join a forward-thinking company manufacturing bespoke commercial furniture. Do you want to learn how to produce bespoke furniture, set up and operate wood machines and become a skilled trades person? Then apply for this apprenticeship.
Annual wage: £16,640 a year. The pay may be negotiated and may rise after a probation period has been successfully completed.
Training course:
- Working week: Monday-Friday 07.45-16.45pm, 40 hours a week
- Potential start date: Monday 6 July 2026
- Duration: 18 Months
Work: As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work:
- Learn practical skills and techniques to produce different types of bespoke furniture including laminated cabinets, furniture and other items
- Learn how to operate machines, tools and equipment including wood machines
- Become a skilled trades person understanding and following industry standards and safety procedures

Training: An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.
College or training organisation: Webs Training Limited, Beeston, Nottingham
Your training course: Furniture making operative Level 2
Your training plan: During your Furniture Manufacturing Level 2 apprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be required to train on a weekly basis here at Webs Training Beeston Nottingham. You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. You will use a wide range of techniques whilst you complete a practical project. Training will be provided in all areas of manufacturing to ensure you can create practical and bespoke products. If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade C/4 or above or have equivalent qualification you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills, however English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.
