Lebus Upholstery, established in 1840, is one of the largest furniture manufacturers of UK produced upholstery, based in North Lincolnshire. We have a modern purpose-built 250,000 square feet factory supplying a wide range of furniture retailers across the UK and Ireland. Lebus Upholstery is regarded as the market leader in the quality commercial upholstered furniture market.
We are looking for Apprentice Upholsterers to join the team in September 2026. Do you want to learn how to produce bespoke upholstered furniture and become a skilled tradesperson?

Comprehensive Modern Upholstery Training:
During your Standard Level 2 Modern Upholstery apprenticeship programme, you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be trained at the employer within the workplace and also at WEBS Training in Nottingham on a block basis for 4 days at a time every 10 weeks. You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. WEBS Training aims to build on the skills you already have so you reach your full potential both personally and professionally.
Training will be provided in all areas of Modern Upholstery to ensure you can create practical and bespoke furniture using both traditional and modern techniques and materials to produce aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose products.

Qualifications:
- GCSE or equivalent in English (Grade C/4) - desirable
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths (Grade C/4) - desirable
If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade 4/C or above or have an equivalent qualification, you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills; however, English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.
Pay: £8 per hr Apprenticeship wage
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7am - 3pm; Friday 7am - 1.30pm
Work Location: Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, DN16 3RN
