We are excited to be offering three apprentice upholsterer vacancies to join a growing furniture manufacturer, Meridian Upholstery.
You will be undertaking a Level 2 Modern Upholsterer apprenticeship, where during your working time you will be trained to upholster beautiful pieces of furniture from start to finish, and not working on flow track. Meridian Upholstery are a high-quality manufacturer, and operate in domestic, contract, and marine markets, which means the products you make will vary – from sofas to cruise ship interiors!
During your training time you will be learning additional upholstery skills, and industry knowledge which you will have time to practice and develop throughout your course.
As this is a Level 2 apprenticeship, you do not require any experience as full training will be required, but there will be high expectations of the successful candidate to be pro-active and ready to get involved!

Progression

Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 07:50 – 17:00, with 30-minute lunch break plus two 15 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, 40 hours and 50 minutes per week
Note – due to Work Time Directive, we are only able to accept applications from those aged 18 and above because of the daily working hours
Salary: £10.20 -£12.41 per hour depending on age
