Description of what the apprentice will do in their role:

A Nottingham based domestic and commercial flooring company who operates across the East Midlands are expanding and looking for an apprentice customer service advisor. This is a brilliant opportunity to learn all the aspects of customer service and sales and to become a valued member of the team.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

  • To undertake day to day business support services to ensure the efficient running of the departments
  • To deliver a high-quality customer service to all internal departments, stakeholders and customers
  • Administrative tasks on in-house systems and databases
  • Handle internal mail delivery and collection, ensuring timely distribution of mail throughout the organisation.
  • Filing/archiving of accounting paperwork, quotes, contracts etc.
  • To cover front of house reception
  • Scanning documents
  • Carry out general administration and other duties
  • Attend meetings as required/requested

Comprehensive Customer ServiceTraining:

During your Standard Level 2 Customer Serviceapprenticeship programme you will receive training both off and on the job. You will be trained at the employers within the workplace and also at WEBS Training in Nottingham on aregular basis.

You will learn the underpinning knowledge that runs alongside your practical elements of the training. WEBS Training aim to build on the skills you already have so you reach your full potential both personally and professionally.

If you have already achieved GCSE maths and English at Grade 4/C or above or have equivalent qualification you will be exempt from undertaking Functional Skills, however English and maths support will be provided for all apprentices throughout the length of their programme.

Career Progression and Opportunities:

This role offers opportunities to advance to an Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3, along with increased responsibilities.

Pay: £15,704 a year per year

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 9am – 5.30pm, 5 days per week including an alternate Saturday.40 hours a week
