We are now looking for additional LGV Class 2 Drivers to join our Widnes site (WA08 0ZU) on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 05:30 and 7am.

As an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will deliver to various destinations across the North West and North Wales on behalf of our customers. You will be responsible for delivering palletised loads and also transporting products that may require unloading via a tail lift. You must therefore be prepared to carry out manual handling duties and to operate both curtain-sided and box vehicles. From time to time, you may also be required to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle and a Van.

  • Perform vehicle inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
  • Manage all documentation for each delivery accurately
  • Communicate effectively with clients and depots as needed

To be considered as an LGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

  • A full, valid Class 2 driving licence with at least 2 years of commercial driving experience
  • A maximum of six points on your licence (excluding BA, CD, DD, DR, or DG codes)
  • A valid Driver CPC Card
  • A valid Digital Tachograph card
  • A willingness to carry out manual handling duties
