Darthaven Marina is located in the stunning South Hams countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and in a truly tranquil setting. Our impressive 270 berth marina and boatyard have grown over the past 30 years, and we pride ourselves in the first-class service all our teams provide to our berth holders, visitors and customers. You will be working with our teams of Marine Engineers, Marine Electricians, Shipwrights and our Quayside Lifting team.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an individual with a great customer focus to join our team providing services for some of the most prestigious boats available. Working in one of the South West’s most beautiful settings, you will have the chance to contribute to the day-to-day running of our stunning marina while acting as a key point of contact for customers and staff.
What will I be doing?
As a Service Receptionist, you will politely greet and articulately assist our service customers and support our Service Team who manage a wide range of duties, often with tight deadlines. You will triage customer requests in person, over the telephone and by email. You will prompt for and accurately record relevant information to enable you to efficiently take messages and route requests to the appropriate service colleague. You will distribute customer requests evenly across the Service Team and gain an awareness of the Service Coordinator role so you may support our team most effectively. Using Sage CRM, you will support our Service Team to raise accurate work instructions. Where required, you will also produce high-quality estimates and raise customer invoices. You will keep our customers regularly informed in person, by telephone and email and in a professional manner throughout. You will handle customer card payments, including taking deposits, often liaising with other teams, such as our Quayside Lifting Team, to ensure this process is handled effectively. You will also be responsible for the smooth handling of a number of specific administrative tasks over the course of the boating year, including our Winter Lay-up process. This involves administering the works requests of approximately 200 customers, so utmost attention to detail is essential.
