This is an exciting opportunity for a talented B2B outbound business development professional with strong qualification and follow-up skills to join our successful specialist business. You’ll have the perfect platform to showcase your commercial ability and sharpen your expertise, with the potential for you to grow into a broader, field-based BD role in future. Better still, you’ll have the chance to turn your ambition into serious earning potential, with an uncapped performance bonus of up to £71,500 that puts you in control of what you can achieve.
The Role
As a Business Development Executive, you will create and qualify new refurbishment opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline of commercially viable projects. Specifically, you will identify and engage the right decision-makers across commercial landlords, facilities teams and education estates, opening new conversations and maintaining consistent follow-up throughout the sales cycle. Using the C.A.S.T. (Compelling event, Authority, Size, Timeline) approach, you will qualify opportunities before providing the Sales Director with a clear and comprehensive handover. Additionally, you will:
- Build targeted prospect lists
- Identify practical project constraints early
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records
- Support occasional site visits
- Test and refine sectors and messaging based on what converts
About You
To be considered as a Business Development Executive, you will need:
- Proven B2B outbound business development experience, creating opportunities rather than solely handling inbound enquiries
- Experience of remaining resilient and consistent within a competitive market
- Evidence of strong qualification and follow-up discipline
- Strong CRM habits and a commitment to maintaining accurate data
- Confidence communicating with senior decision-makers and asking direct, commercially relevant questions
- Clear written English language skills, with the ability to produce targeted and natural-sounding emails
