About the role

Our client is looking for an Operations Executive to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As an Operations Executive, you will oversee the successful operational delivery of a diverse portfolio of face-to-face, hybrid and virtual events. You will manage the end-to-end delivery of conferences, seminars, webinars, competitions and lectures, taking responsibility for event logistics, supplier and venue management, budgeting and stakeholder liaison. Taking full responsibility for onsite delivery, you will lead event operations from build-up through to breakdown, acting as the main point of contact for venues, suppliers, speakers, sponsors and delegates.

Additionally, you will:

  • Negotiate with venues, AV suppliers and other event providers
  • Co-ordinate event collateral, including guides, badges and delegate lists
  • Fulfil sponsorship agreements and manage additional sponsor requirements
  • Reconcile event expenditure with the Finance team
  • Organise post-event review meetings and collate stakeholder feedback

About You

To be considered as an Operations Executive, you will need:

  • Familiarity with events operations processes
  • The ability to get the best rates from suppliers
  • Confidence communicating with people at all levels of seniority, and proven experience of building relationships
  • The ability to get the most out of budgets to achieve targets and maximise value
  • To be customer focused and driven to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Please note, this role will involve regular travel, as required, with frequent overnight stays.
