We are now looking for an Events Marketing and Communications Officer to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

The Role
As an Events Marketing and Communications Officer, you will join our Education Department and support the development and delivery of events, conferences and communications, as well as marketing and social media activity. Specifically, you will support the planning, promotion and delivery of professional development events while leading clear, engaging communications across the department. You’ll play a practical role in co-ordinating the annual CPD and training programme, working closely with venues, speakers and schools to ensure events run smoothly, on time and within budget. Shaping how the department communicates, you’ll also manage social media, newsletters and marketing materials, using engagement data to inform future activity and offering practical guidance to schools on effective communications.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee the onsite logistics of events
- Manage event-related payments, reconciliations and financial reporting
- Support departmental administration
About You
To be considered as an Events Marketing and Communications Officer, you will need:
- Experience in event management, marketing, or communications
- Experience of budgeting, financial reconciliation, and fundraising
- Experience attracting outside investment through sponsorship and other means
- Proficiency with Eventbrite, social media scheduling, and digital communications
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
