The Role
As our client’s IT Operations Engineer, you will play a key practical role in delivering high‑quality technical support, maintaining and improving the IT environment, and acting as an escalation point for operational issues across devices, identity, networks, cloud services and security platforms.
Requirements
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams Telephony)
- Microsoft Entra ID, Intune and Defender
- Microsoft Azure (VMs, networking, backup & recovery)
- Core networking principles and cybersecurity best practices
- Troubleshooting, organisation and communication
- Security‑first mindset with awareness of least privilege and conditional access
- Knowledge and experience in internal IT as part of a professional body or charity would be advantageous.
