About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Customer Sales Advisor to lead and develop our Internal Team. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, improving margins, and ensuring outstanding customer service, all in line with company standards and objectives. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys coaching teams, building strong internal relationships, and delivering consistent results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day performance of the Internal Sales Team
  • Monitor and assess team performance against agreed KPIs, addressing performance or conduct issues in line with Bunzl HR policies
  • Ensure all training and development requirements are met and regularly reviewed
  • Develop and implement sales plans focused on retaining and growing existing customers, while winning new business
  • Ensure sales targets are clearly communicated and consistently achieved
  • Work closely with the External Sales Team to coordinate sales activities effectively
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time
  • Resolve customer queries quickly and efficiently
  • Continuously improve communication across branch functions to deliver the highest levels of customer service

Skills & Experience

  • Proven telephone‑based or customer‑facing sales experience
  • Outbound sales experience
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills
  • Results‑driven with excellent communication and organisational abilities
