We are currently recruiting an Inventory Supervisor based at our Derby Site (DE65 6BG). The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of £30,366.39 (depending on experience).

As an Inventory Supervisor, you will take ownership of the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operation. You’ll work closely with the Customer Inventory Administrator to maintain stock integrity across the contract, ensuring all inventory is accurately accounted for and performance targets are consistently achieved. This is a role you can truly shape, with plenty of scope to put your own stamp on how things are done. A natural drive for continuous improvement and a curious, analytical mindset will set you up for success. Because the role relies heavily on data manipulation, strong Excel skills are essential.

Key Tasks:

  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships both internal and external, acting as the key customer contact for queries.
  • Attend regular inventory meetings to review performance and issues, providing accurate data in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operations and customer service.
  • Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR, etc., supporting with investigations and disciplinary hearings as necessary.
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and development, mentoring and support, as necessary. All employees' PDRs completed on time.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous inventory/stock control experience.
  • Previous Experience in Inventory Management/control.
  • Knowledge / operational experience of WMS Scale (Desirable).
  • Awareness of KAIZEN principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to effectively deal with and resolve problems.
