We have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring building surveyor with strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem‑solving and a passion for delivering high‑quality homes and services. In this role, you’ll develop your surveying skills and career while working alongside experienced professionals to help maintain, improve and protect B3Living homes. You’ll gain practical experience inspecting properties, supporting planned maintenance projects and ensuring work is completed to high standards, while learning about building compliance, procurement and contract management. As your knowledge and confidence grow, you’ll take on increasing responsibility, working closely with customers, contractors and colleagues to help deliver safe, well‑maintained homes and excellent value for money.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ability to interpret information/situations to resolve more complex problems using creative thinking
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Awareness of inclusion and the importance of considering customer needs
- A Levels, BTEC Level 3, 104 UCAS points or equivalent
- Valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle with business insurance
No specific experience is required, however, the following would be advantageous:
- Awareness of contract management
- Work experience in a building/surveying or housing workplace
- Experience in a local authority or Social Landlord environment or the ability to demonstrate familiarity with property or construction issues that are specific to the public sector
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to undertake a DBS check.
