Ideal Candidate

This is the ideal role for a proactive project and people manager from a commercial fit-out, construction or landscaping background to advance their career with our forward-thinking, growing organisation.

We’re looking for a hard-working, talented leader who is comfortable balancing hard hats with spreadsheets. Thinking strategically at times and working on commercial sites with various trades, clients and colleagues to deliver outstanding installations. You’ll have the chance to develop your expertise at the forefront of the commercial fit-out sector, working within our innovative organisation.

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee our installation projects to provide biophilic enhancements to office and hospitality workspaces. Specifically, you will undertake the end-to-end installation project management, taking ownership of multiple projects across different locations while leading project production planning, managing client expectations, ensuring site readiness, thinking at pace, solving problems and building trust and confidence with the Install Team. With a clear focus on delivering exceptional client experiences every time, you will ensure safe, compliant installations, minimal delays and clear handovers. After completing site surveys, readiness checks and stakeholder co‑ordination, you will be involved in production and logistics planning to ensure the correct resources are available, and complete necessary RAMS documentation and H&S compliance activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing advice and practical support to enable delivery
  • Effective handovers to maintenance teams and strong internal communications
  • Leading, motivating and supporting installation teams

What Will You Need?

  • At least two years’ experience in a project management and/or site coordination role within the commercial fit‑out, construction installation, landscaping installation sector or similar
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating labour, materials and site logistics to deliver to a programme across multiple sites
  • Experience working on live construction sites with the main contractor’s expectations, site rules and realities
  • Confidence in producing and managing project documentation (including RAMS)
  • Commercial awareness, with a focus on cost‑effective delivery and working to budget
  • Confident with relevant IT programmes (planning, reporting, documentation)
  • A full, valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites

Other Titles

Other organisations may call this role Installation Manager, Fit‑Out Project Manager, Fit‑Out Manager, Office Installation Manager, Project Team Manager, or Installation Lead.
