Production Planner Join Our Growing Team Our company is growing and expanding, and we have many opportunities to join our production team in Co.
Armagh.
Our fast-growing business makes innovative chocolates, snacks & granola under our Forest Feast, Acti-Snack & Just Live a Little brands, sold throughout the UK & Ireland.
As demand for our products continues to increase, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Production Planner to join our friendly team and help us increase our production capacity.
The Role The role of a Production Planner is to effectively schedule the factorys production lines, optimising runs and minimising downtime based on allergens, whilst maintaining our Customer Service level.
Your main duties will include: - Importing the forecast - Production planning using computer software package Defacto /ERP/MRP etc. - Running reports daily (min/max stock holding per product area) - Planning BBE/levels & availability - Analysing Forecast vs Sales & reporting - Liaising with managers and other departments to ensure smooth running of production - Using software to collect and analyse figures and produce schedules, ensuring the schedule is optimised in accordance with allergen management, minimising changeover where possible - Checking raw materials for line and works orders, ensuring appropriate stock availability - Updating the CSL report - Updating BOM tables for packaging and raw material requirements - Undertaking any other duties as required to fulfil the company needs.
About You We are looking for someone who: - Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn - Has, at a minimum, GCSEs or equivalent in maths & English, at grade C or above - Works well as part of a team - Has experience in a production planning & scheduling environment - Has good attention to detail - Possesses good computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - Has excellent organisational skills - Has excellent problem-solving skills Previous experience of a computerised stock control system ERP would be helpful, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
