We are currently looking for a Service Engineer (Electrical) to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, qualified electrical engineer with strong knowledge of Comap and Deep Sea generator controllers to join our leading international organisation. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and optimising installations that help our customers improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions and move towards a vital net zero future. The Role:

As a Service Engineer, you will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work on installations. Ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved, you will efficiently diagnose and implement all reactive maintenance work on our clients’ installations, as well as other users’ installations. You will oversee and work to optimise the operational processes of a company's systems to increase productivity and reduce their use of excess time and materials.

About You:

To be considered as a Service Engineer, you’ll need:

  • At a minimum, an ONC/D or City & Guilds qualification in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • To be a competent time served technician, preferably with a minimum of 3 years’ industrial electrical experience
  • To be a competent electrician with the ability to interrogate and programme Comap and Deep Sea generator controllers
  • To be competent in fault-finding electrical control panels
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical design drawings
  • Effective IT skills and competency in the use of Microsoft Office packages
  • A full, valid driving licence

Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 5pm and Friday 8.30pm - 4.00pm. This role will involve weekend work and possible out of hours work. You will be required to participate in an established 24 hour callout programme based on a rota system.
