We are now looking for a Night Shift Shovel Driver & Silo Operative to join us on a permanent, full-time basis. Your normal hours of work will average 39 hours per week over a four week period and will either be on Shift A or Shift B. Shifts will rotate every four weeks with other Silo Operatives. TheRole As a Night Shift Shovel Driver & Silo Operative, you will form part of a team which carries out the day-to-day operation of silos and flat stores within West Twin Silos, based at Belfast Harbour. Your duties will include: - Operating tipper to discharge commodities into store bays - Loading trucks - Assisting with ship discharge - Performing daily checks on new equipment About You To be considered as a Night Shift Shovel Driver & Silo Operative, you will need: - The willingness to work weekends, as required - Flexibility in your approach to hours and duties Experience of working in an automated animal feed store and/or experience of bulk material handling in this area would be beneficial to your application. Appropriate licences and experience of loading grain box type trailers using a 5-tonne bucket capacity front loader shovel, such as a CAT950 or Volvo L120, etc., would be equally advantageous.
