We are now looking for a General Operative to join us in Cookstown on a full-time basis, working approximately 40 hours per week. Hours may vary depending on the season, with day shifts from Monday to Friday and occasional Saturday work, depending on customer demand. The Role As a General Operative, you will support the day-to-day production of our handmade food products, helping to maintain the high standards of quality, safety and consistency our customers expect. Typically, youll be involved in all aspects of food production, from weighing ingredients and preparing products to cooking, lidding and assisting the packing team. Youll follow product specifications and operate cooking equipment whilst adhering to our Health and Safety procedures and Food Quality and Safety standards. Throughout each shift, youll also help maintain clean and tidy workspaces and report any production issues to management. About You To be considered as a General Operative, you will need: - Experience of working as part of a team - Excellent English communication skills - The ability to work under your own initiative - The ability to adapt to changing business requirements Any experience you have within the food industry would be beneficial, as would Food Safety or Hygiene certificates. Experience of following Health and Safety guidelines would be equally desirable.
