This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Bainbridge office, with occasional travel across the Park. There is also potential for some home working, depending on business needs.

The Role

You’ll provide first-line technical support to staff, acting as a key point of contact for IT queries. This includes resolving incidents efficiently, maintaining accurate records within the incident management system, and supporting users both remotely and in person. You’ll help maintain and improve the Authority’s IT environment, including hardware, systems and applications, ensuring they meet professional standards. This includes configuring equipment, supporting software installations and upgrades, maintaining secure and compliant records, and contributing to system improvements, documentation and user guidance. You’ll also support IT projects and promote effective use of technology across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to staff

  • Install, configure and maintain hardware and software
  • Support IT projects and system improvements

About You

You’ll have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience supporting IT systems in a Microsoft Windows environment, along with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server (2019/2022), and technologies such as Veeam, Hyper-V and Teams Phone is desirable.
