Salary: starting at £28,884 FTE per annum, to £31,698 FTE per annum; £23,419.45 per annum, to £25,701.08 per annum for 30 hours per week

Location: Wigan Crisis Space, Crompton Street, Wigan, WN1 1YP - Office based and wheelchair accessible.
Hours: Part-time – 30 hours per week - Working late afternoons and evenings, and weekend working on a rota basis – we are recruiting for 2 positions

Family Action & the Role’s Impact:
At Family Action we support people through change, challenge or crisis. We protect children, support young people and adults and offer direct, practical help to families and communities. Wigan Crisis Space is a collaborative approach to providing mental health and wellbeing support from late afternoon into the evening. It provides a safe space for people who are experiencing mental distress or who feel that they are going through a personal crisis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and line management to a small team of Support, Time and Recovery (STR) workers to support the delivery of a safe, effective and appropriate service.
- Support STR workers in goal and safety planning, implementing interventions and provide support and advice to staff on safeguarding issues working closely with the Service Manager on complex issues.
- Develop relationships with and keep up to date with local services and organisations which can offer support in relation to developing positive wellbeing.
- Ensure regular and robust case recording and risk management in line with Quality Standards.
