Key Information
- Service: PAC-UK / Clinical Services London
- Salary: £50 per hour (therapy with service user); £25 per hour (other related tasks including report writing, attending meetings, etc.)
- Location: Hybrid – can work in person at Family Action premises Leeds LS15 7BD or London N1 7GR, or remotely.

Role Overview
Family Action supports people through change, challenge or crisis. Over 150 years of work involves protecting children, supporting young people and adults, and offering practical help to families and communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services to adults affected by adoption and permanent placement, including contemporary and historic birth relatives, special guardians, adult adoptees, prospective adopters, adoptive parents and carers.
- Maintain an active interest in working with people from different racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
- Set up and maintain accurate written case records for all service users using the PAC‑UK database and electronic/hard‑copy filing systems, ensuring all mandatory forms are completed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant experience in psychotherapy, counselling, therapeutic social work, or related disciplines.
- Appointments subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service checks and required references.
