Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and work to direction given by social workers alongside the needs and preferences of children and their families; supervise Family Time contact ensuring that children are kept safe and that their emotional wellbeing is always prioritised.
- Promote and maintain contact arrangements that are agreed between all parties, managing risk around the Family Time as a priority.
- Provide an opportunity for parents, siblings or other important adults to maintain positive relationships with their children; oversee practical and emotional support for parents where required to make supervised contact sessions a positive experience for the children.
Main Requirements
- You will bring your knowledge and experience of working with children, young people and/or families whilst managing potential conflicts and risk.
- The ability to accurately write records and observations is desirable for this role.
- You will be joining the service as a valuable member of an experienced contact team.
- You will have a strong track record of working with families and a focus on quality and safeguarding.
- With a client‑facing approach you will be passionate about engaging our service users in all aspects of our work including co‑production.
