Position: Independent Contractor – Satellite Installer
Location: Nationwide – Work anywhere in the Canada
What You’ll Do
- Install satellite internet systems at customer locations
- Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots
- Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception
- Configure and program satellite receivers
- Test and troubleshoot to ensure everything’s working smoothly
- Provide top-notch customer service and answer questions
- Educate customers on using their new satellite systems
What You Need
- Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment
- Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling
- Skilled with hand tools and network installation (Cisco routers a plus!)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Great communication abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience as a service technician is a bonus
