This is a hands-on role that provides full visibility across the supply chain, offering a clear development path to Procurement Manager within 2–3 years for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Support stock management and demand forecasting in collaboration with the Product and Operations teams.
  • Assist in analysing supplier performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activity and supplier communications.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure materials and packaging meet production timelines.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects in supply chain efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (or a degree with supply chain or procurement modules), or related education with experience in supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general data handling.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Desirable (but not required):

  • Understanding of basic supply chain principles such as forecasting, lead times, or procurement processes.
  • Experience in an administrative or purchasing support role.
  • Familiarity with ERP or stock management systems.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Quarterly performance bonus.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • A supportive environment with hands-on mentoring and real responsibility from day one.
  • Career progression opportunities, with a clear path to Procurement Manager within 2–3 years.
