As a Functional Consultant, liaise with business owners and development teams to refine Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O solution that is suitable for our business. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will advise them in business terms about how to transform their business in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and translate it into technical requirements.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the implementation of the F&O project.
  • Designing, managing, and implementing multiple functional aspects of the solution.
  • Working with the technical team to convert business requirements into working, customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience with functional testing and end-to-end process testing and integration testing using Postman.
  • Proven experience in technologies and capabilities provided by Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including out-of-the-box capabilities and limitations.
  • Direct Debit experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the SCM & Finance modules and willingness to explore other modules.
  • Full implementation lifecycle experience of ERP-based programmes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 and knowledge of the supporting business processes.
  • Facilitating workshops to gather and document user needs and translating them into business processes and a product backlog.
  • A passion for delivering according to an agile methodology, planning projects and releases in sprints, and writing Epics, Features, and User Stories.
  • An understanding of the broader Microsoft stack and the ability to leverage it to create powerful solutions (PowerApps, Power BI, Dataverse, Azure, Office 365) while working in fast-paced Agile environments.

Relevant functional experience: approximately 5-6 years of D365 F&O functional experience, with overall experience of 12+ years. Experience working as an individual contributor and familiarity with Agile processes. Energy industry exposure will be an advantage.
