The Role: AWS Cloud Network Engineer (AWS Infra Services and Networking).

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver stories (on Jira) as per the Sprint/Project plans.
  • Take ownership of delivering assigned objectives and/or specific tasks as assigned.
  • Building and delivering solutions for platform and projects.
  • Adopt and use appropriate tooling/technologies to achieve goals for the team.
  • Meetings and scrums - organizing, facilitating and participating.
  • Planning - in particular on Deployment/implementation.
  • Organization, planning, prioritization & decision making.
  • Manage third party relationships and responses on need basis.
  • Risk and issues management.

Your Profile:

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Proficient and experienced in AWS Infra and Network services, VPC.
  • Strong experience on Network (peering, WAN, Transit gateway).
  • Experience on AWS Security (NACL, Security groups), Firewalls, Routing, NAT.
  • Expert in services like EC2, Lambda, S3, Cloud Formation, AWS Step Functions, AWS SSM, AWS IAM, AWS Backup, AWS ACM, KMS.
  • Experience in monitoring Tools like Datadog, PagerDuty, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, SIEM integration.
  • Scripting experience - Terraform, Ansible, Python, AWS CLI.
  • Tooling experience; Jenkins CI/CD, Puppet, Packer.
  • Windows (2019/2022/2025) and/or Redhat Linux (7/8/9/10) to an admin level in an enterprise context, preferably within a Cloud platform.
  • Service management, Release and Change management processes and tools.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:

  • Broader scripting experience - PowerShell, bash, etc.
  • Squid Proxy, Trend Micro, Hashicorp Vault, GIT, Groovy.
  • Skills in DNS: A and C names; Active Directory; Encryption and SSL.
  • Exposure to Agile/Feature/Platform teams.
  • Exposure to ITIL.
