Digital Project Manager role at WebMD. This position is part of Medscape, a division of WebMD, and involves leading end-to-end digital campaign execution for key client accounts with cross-functional teams.
Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day digital project management, including creation and management of project timelines in Workfront management system
- Mastery of high-order reporting and dashboard functions within Workfront
- Demonstrating overall Medscape process compliance and mastery to focus on high-quality client deliverables and error-free launches
- Manage and harmonize project execution across globally distributed internal teams (UK, Europe, US, India), demonstrating sensitivity to time zones
- Adherence to internal and client processes and requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality programmes and error-free launches
- Translating client priorities and expectations clearly across internal development teams, and managing acceleration requests. Providing proactive and creative solutions to challenges
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues and delays, and serving as a primary point of escalation for the project team
- Contribute to overall team revenue objectives by maintaining efficient project timelines and ensuring high client satisfaction and retention
- Serving as internal lead for pilot programmes and custom client implementations
- Working with internal departments to streamline processes for more efficient executions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience ideally (3+ years) in digital project management required
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience ideally within a combination of digital, agency and healthcare/pharmaceutical industry environment
- Ability to efficiently coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment
- Experience in delivering online campaigns, e.g. banner ads, emails, landing pages, websites, online content production
- Proficiency in organization and documentation tools (MS Word, Excel, task management systems like WorkFront, GSuite)
Additional skills
- Knowledge of marketing-related content, creative and digital processes
- Experience with medical/legal review process within pharmaceutical industry; equivalent experience in a highly regulated industry may substitute
- Familiarity with HCP-focused clients
