Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

The Digital Marketing Analyst will be a key member of our Audience Engagement team, supporting affiliate marketing relationships, driving CME campaigns, and contributing to our digital presence across European, Middle East and Asia Pacific markets. The ideal candidate brings solid campaign execution skills, SEO knowledge, and a data‑driven mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and regional partners. This role suits a proactive and detail‑oriented marketer who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anchor affiliate marketing campaigns in collaboration with cross‑functional colleagues and regional sister companies, identifying opportunities to promote CME content through their marketing channels and making inroads into new regional geographies across European markets.
  • Develop end‑to‑end campaign strategies across digital marketing channels, driving execution from brief to launch while managing localisation and country‑specific engagement considerations.
  • Contribute in the build and deployment of newsletters and email marketing programmes, with a focus on nurturing campaigns, member re‑activation – including multilingual and region‑specific content tailored for diverse European audiences.
  • Contribute to and help lead the website SEO strategy, including on‑page optimisation, off‑page and backlink strategies, and regular monitoring of website traffic, audience health, and overall SEO performance using tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or Adobe Analytics.
  • Support the organisation’s growing focus on Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), developing approaches to improve visibility of educational content within AI‑driven and generative search environments.
  • Define, monitor, and report on campaign KPIs and website performance metrics, translating data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimise future marketing effectiveness.
  • Work closely with internal teams including email production, analytics, compliance, and regional affiliates to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry, with hands‑on experience across email marketing, campaign automation, and analytics.
  • Proven experience managing and executing marketing campaigns across European markets, with a strong understanding of localisation, country‑specific engagement strategies, and multilingual content development.
  • Demonstrable expertise in website SEO and performance measurement, with working knowledge of tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, and/or Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Experience in Healthcare Professional (HCP) marketing, healthcare communications, or pharma brand promotion is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in an additional European language is a plus.
Education — BA/BS in Marketing or a related field.Core Competencies — Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
