Medscape is looking for an Associate Media Planner (Operations) to join our Global business, working across pharmaceutical and other healthcare client media campaigns. The successful candidate will work closely with the Media Planning Operations team and other internal team stakeholders to monitor the delivery campaigns, and ensure we provide an excellent experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in Media Operations, analysing and manipulating data using Excel, managing campaign delivery and optimizations. They will also be data and process driven.
Responsibilities
- Managing the operations and overseeing all media campaigns across the full campaign life cycle.
- Provision of impression availability and media reservation.
- Media Plan development and management.
- Coordination with Media Client Services and Ad Ops team for creative assets and overseeing QA.
- Weekly campaign pacing review.
- Optimisation and inventory management.
- Internal stakeholder relationship management.
- Providing project management support.
- Work in partnership with the Media Planning Client Services team to understand client objectives and needs.
- Ensuring client requirements are accurately communicated to internal teams, as this is crucial in the highly-regulated healthcare environment.
- Provide exemplary service post-campaign launch in order to meet contractual obligations by monitoring programmes.
- Complete campaign performance spreadsheets, analysing data from our ad server and 3rd party reports.
- Prepare delivery summaries, working with Inventory and Ad Ops teams to drive campaign success, and elevate issues to Planning management.
- An internal-facing role to support Media teams and managers as needed.
- Assisting in the facilitation of Media product rollouts and process efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree.
- Ideally will have some experience in operations in an agency, publisher Operations, Ad Operations or Programmatic environment.
- Strong desire to learn digital media.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
- Proactive and takes initiative.
- Ability to multitask, function under pressure and meet delivery timeframes.
- Organised with proven ability to manage conflicting priorities.

- Able to handle numerous high-level campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Desirable but not mandatory: Self-service experience in any DSPs/SSPs/AdServers (The Trade Desk, Xandr, DV360, Google Ad Manager).
