About this Role:

The Senior Executive Assistant provides strategic administrative partnership to the General Manager, SVP, EMEA, while also supporting additional members of the EMEA leadership team, including coordination of travel, meetings, and regional initiatives for other senior leaders as needed. This role extends beyond traditional executive support by serving as a trusted operational partner who helps drive communication, coordination, and execution across the EMEA organization. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, business acumen, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs while managing competing priorities across a dynamic, global business.

What You'll Do as the Senior Executive Assistant:

  • Executive Partnership
    • Manage complex executive calendars, ensuring priorities are aligned with business objectives and making thoughtful recommendations on time allocation.
    • Coordinate domestic and international travel for supported executives while balancing evolving business priorities.
    • Manage expense reporting accurately and efficiently.
    • Prepare agendas, presentations, briefing materials, and documentation for executive and leadership meetings.
    • Capture meeting notes, distribute action items, and track follow-up to completion.
  • Business Operations & Regional Coordination
    • Serve as a trusted operational partner to the General Manager, SVP, EMEA and members of the EMEA leadership team.
    • Coordinate communication across EMEA leadership, global cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders.
    • Support planning and execution of regional leadership meetings, customer engagements, executive visits, offsites, and key business events.
    • Support cross-regional initiatives and operational programs that span multiple organizations.
    • Assist with marketing and GTM events across EMEA as needed.
    • Facilitate effective communication to ensure important information is shared consistently across the EMEA region.
  • Strategic Partnership
    • Develop a strong understanding of the EMEA business, organizational priorities, leadership team, and operating rhythms.
    • Anticipate executive and business needs by thinking ahead and identifying potential risks or conflicts before they arise.
    • Recommend process improvements that increase operational efficiency and improve collaboration.
    • Coordinate follow-up across multiple stakeholders to ensure key initiatives continue moving forward.
  • Office & Team Support
    • Support London office initiatives and executive visits.
    • Partner closely with Executive Assistants and Business Partners across the company to ensure seamless coordination across regions.
    • Contribute as an active member of Fastly's administrative community, sharing best practices and supporting team success.
