As a Software Engineer, Deploy at Scale, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the platform that powers safe, reliable, and automated deployments across Cloudflare. We are looking for engineers to join the team and help shape the next phase of deployment automation, release safety, and AI-assisted operations. The Release Manager platform is pivotal in ensuring service resiliency by orchestrating progressive deployments, supporting health-mediated rollouts, and automating release workflows at scale.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

  • At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience on meaningfully complex systems.
  • Experience building both backend systems and frontend widgets.
  • Ability to contribute to planning, development, and execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.
  • Experience implementing tools, processes, internal instrumentation, and methodologies.
  • Comfortable working on projects with tight deadlines and short release cycles.
  • Strong verbal and written English language skills.

This role may require flexibility to be on-call outside of standard working hours to address technical issues as needed.
