We're looking for someone who is either a recent graduate or has a few years of experience as a Development Chemist. If you excel at communicating technical information across all levels of a business, are self-motivated, and possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, this could be the perfect role for you. The role sits within our R&D team here in Flitwick. What you'll be doing: Acting as an R&D consultant on cross functional business wide projects. Managing new product development, cost saving and sustainability projects. Using technical knowledge to develop and adjust product formulations. Actively seeking to develop knowledge of raw materials and products within own product categories. Taking responsibility for ensuring products are fully tested internally and externally to comply with the relevant standard(s), as agreed with Marketing and Technical. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of standards, policies and regulations that apply to R&D and own product category.What you need to be successful: Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information. Ability to lead and manage various projects. Eagerness and willingness to learn.
