What’s happening?

We are looking for an experienced Account Director to join our Consumer team in London. You’ll collaborate with a brilliant team to oversee client work locally and globally, provide counsel and strategic direction, and motivate the team to craft work that truly stands out.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and enhance delivery and quality
  • Provide strategic counsel and define effective solutions for clients
  • Lead the delivery of high-quality earned activity, including development of media and channel strategies, story development, and management of third parties
  • Brief and inform account teams; communicate expectations and tasks to keep the team motivated
  • Manage client expectations, resources and deliverables around major campaigns and projects
  • Function across disciplines with knowledge of social media strategies and tactics
  • Monitor media coverage, leveraging digital and social outlets and influencers
  • Understand industry issues affecting the client
  • Prepare media materials and conduct media outreach
  • Develop and build relationships with media
  • Brainstorm and bring to life compelling ideas for clients and media
  • Lead teams in research and provide strategic, actionable recommendations

Who are you?

  • Already working as an Account Director in a PR agency
  • Proven experience in media relations planning for consumer clients
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to translate client needs into effective project plans
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Ability to deliver campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Ability to build external relationships
