The Role
We are an award-winning and forward-thinking People team looking to recruit a Junior People Partner to join our EMEA team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The Junior People Partner will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, supporting their designated client groups with guidance on people-related matters and initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture. You may already be a People/HR Business Partner in a smaller organization seeking a new challenge, or a Senior Advisor looking to step up.
What will you be doing?
- Working with the People Leads, Advisors, and Apprentice within the wider Weber Shandwick People team, you will provide support in areas including:
- Partnering with senior leaders to understand their goals and needs, supporting teams with day-to-day people challenges, and offering practical solutions.
- Providing HR support across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, probation, employee relations, appraisals, training, employee queries, and exit procedures.
- Offering best practice guidance and support on employee relations cases, maintaining high standards of employee experience and organizational integrity.
- Leading on the development of our People data and analysis, collaborating to uncover trends and transform insights into actionable recommendations.
- Supporting recruitment efforts within your client group, utilizing Greenhouse ATS.
- Managing the probation process and ensuring timely completion of meetings and paperwork.
- Coaching managers on appraisal reviews and training on HR systems.
- Contributing to process improvements within the HR team to enhance efficiency and service quality.
You will also support with various responsibilities including:
- Supporting the delivery of UK DEI initiatives alongside the DEI People Lead.
- Reviewing and updating employee information in accordance with best practices and legislation.
- Collaborating with the EMEA L&D team on external inclusive partnerships and memberships.
