We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Member to join our retail sundries department at our Wychbold store. Webbs is an award-winning garden centre retailer with four stores and a growing ecommerce business. Our stores are premium garden centres with exceptional indoor and outdoor horticulture departments, a range of quality gifts, homeware, furniture and clothing. Our high quality restaurants offer freshly prepared, seasonally changing menus. We are an independent family business with a great team of people. This is a varied role with tasks including:
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance to customers to help them choose suitable products
- Link sales to ensure customers have everything they need to complete their gardening projects
- Merchandising stock in line with Company guidelines
- Housekeeping to ensure high standards of presentation and health and safety
- Manual handling
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have great sales and customer service skills, ideally gained within a similar environment. You will have strong horticultural knowledge so that you are confident and credible with customers. Ideally you will hold a relevant qualification (eg RHS or equivalent).
Role Details
This is a part time and fixed term role involving working weekdays and weekends, averaging 30 hours per week. Start date will be confirmed at interview and the fixed term contract will run until 4th January 2026.
