We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales advisor to join our outdoor horticultural team at our Frilford garden centre. Webbs is an award‑winning garden centre retailer with four stores and a growing e‑commerce business. Our stores are premium gardens with exceptional indoor and outdoor horticulture departments, a range of quality gifts, homeware, furniture and clothing. Our high quality restaurants offer freshly prepared, seasonally changing menus. We're an independent family business with a great team of people. At Webbs our values are Team, Trust, Environment, Family and Personality. We have an excellent workplace culture with a focus on fun and wellbeing whilst we work hard to get the job done together. We’re proud to have won national awards including Best UK Workplace 2023, Best UK Workplace for Women 2023 and Excellence in Wellbeing awards 2023.

The role involves working within an established team; outdoor plants, merchandising plants, stoneware and compost. You’ll care for and maintain the quality of our plants, as well as helping customers with all their plant needs. You’ll work closely with team members and department managers to ensure consistently high retail standards, displays and customer service are delivered.

Horticultural and retail experience is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm/passion for gardening/plants would be ideal but equally valuable is a friendly personality and a willingness to learn/progress a career in horticulture. This is an outdoor, physical role, so experience of working outdoors in all weathers and manual handling is a must.

This is a full‑time role working 37.5 hours. Weekday, early mornings, evenings and weekends will be required. The role is based at our store in Frilford and so you must live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Our reward package includes a generous benefits package including colleague discounts, pension scheme, discretionary profit share bonus scheme and free parking. Apply now or send your CV to jobs@webbs.co.uk.

Job Types: Full Time, Permanent. Hourly rate: £8.00 – £12.71. Salary will meet national minimum wage for age.
